Offsite Storage
One of the things that help make a good backup strategy is to have a place off-site to store your data in case there is some catastrophe at home to be able to still recover your data.
There are a couple different options for backups. Several hosting services provide storage solutions and I would reccomend you research what would work best for you. For my needs I found that Backblaze offers an S3 compatible solution. There are many solutions that work with the S3 API commands. It also works with RSync, which is important to me as this is what I use as my main backup engine.
It's a reasonable cost per gigabyte and allows me to have a safe location to retrieve my files if the worst happens.
